Welcome
Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time, but I know at times it can feel overwhelming. My goal as your wedding photographer is to not only capture beautiful photos, but to also take as much off your plate as I can. Your wedding day should be fun and be full of joy! I’m so incredibly excited to capture all of these special moments for you, as well as create an amazing experience that you, your family, and guests will never forget. So, let’s get started!

THE RACHEL ANN EXPERIENCE
Helping you have a great, stress-free and joyful day is one of my highest priorities.
Prior to your wedding day, I will work with you to create a personalized plan for your unique day, ensuring that significant moments and details, big and small, are captured. We’ll also work together to choose beautiful and meaningful photo locations you’ll love. And although it’s completely optional, I’m always happy to give you my honest and unbiased input on any aspect of your day if you ask!
On your wedding day, I capture the moments exactly as they happen: the genuine smiles, the raw emotions, and the story of your big day from start to finish. My goal is to be sophisticated rather than stuffy, so you can be totally comfortable knowing that I won’t put you in stiff poses. Instead, I offer gentle instructions to get you comfortable and look your best on camera. I believe in quality over quantity and shooting with intention, which means you can spend more time celebrating with your loved ones.
After your wedding, your images will be delivered to you in an online gallery where you and your loved ones can download all images in high resolution. You can either order professional-quality prints directly from the online gallery, or you’re free to take them to your favorite printer – they’re yours.

Because organizing a Destination Wedding in France is already complicated enough, you’re looking for vendors you can full rely on and communicate with flawlessly. I have one one thing that other so-called ‘destination wedding photographers’ dont have : local knowledge + language skills
I know all the best spots in the Champagne region for beautiful photos surrounded by vineyards in the best light
I understand French wedding culture (trust me, French weddings are pretty different to American weddings!), and its important to understand these differences when communicating with vendors. When you book with me, I will send you my French Wedding guide which explains these differences in detail so you can be sure to get the wedding you’ve always dreamed of.

If you’re looking at booking your Destination Wedding in France, then its probably because you love the country and all things French. Well trust me, I do too! When you book me as your wedding photographer, not only do you support me and my French family, but my income (and taxes) are then spent in the country and go on to support the local economy. Nothing frustrates me more than seeing vendors travelling in to France for a wedding, benefitting from and exploiting its beautiful ressources, and then leaving without bringing any financial benefit to the country and its economy.
Furthermore, hiring a ‘destination wedding photographer’ who doesn’t have a legitimate work visa for the country they are travelling to is incredibly risky as they can be refused entry at the border and you’ll find yourselves without a photographer at the last minute! Don’t put yourself in that position and instead, support local, legitimate French businesses, and get the local knowledge and experience you deserve.

HOW LONG DO YOU TAKE TO DELIVER PICTURES?
A:
We are actually pretty quick. Depending of the medium we used to shoot (digital or/and film), we deliver between a few days to a few weeks. In any case, it’s never longer than 4 weeks, when we have to send the film pictures to a lab to be developed and scanned.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

We are currently based in France. We love destination weddings based here and we’ll be more than happy to join you all over the country to celebrate! Contact us for more information!
Q:
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?
A:
The galleries generally include between 600 and 800 photos. The amount will vary from one wedding to another bur as a general rule, you should expect somewhere around 75 photos per hour of photo coverage. Our underlying philosophy is ‘quality over quantity’. Your online gallery will contain high-resolution images and edited in Rachel’s signature style.
